Hi I'm Cecilia,
I am a bilingual therapist, offering therapy sessions in both English and Spanish. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), I am deeply committed to supporting individuals in their journey toward healing and mental well-being. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, with a special focus on supporting youth who have experienced trauma, but I wholeheartedly welcome and work with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and life experiences.
My approach to therapy is centered around creating a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and together, we can explore and address the challenges that are impacting your life. In our work together, I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (T-CBT), and a Person-Centered approach. I believe that building self-awareness and gaining insight into your thoughts and behaviors are essential steps toward growth and healing. By better understanding yourself, we can work together to help you uncover the best version of yourself.
Additionally, I place a strong emphasis on developing and integrating healthy coping strategies into your daily life. These tools are not only important for managing the immediate challenges you face, but they are also key to supporting your long-term mental and emotional well-being. Whether you are seeking help with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or other personal struggles, I am here to walk alongside you in a compassionate and supportive manner, helping you navigate your path to healing.
