Hi, Im Daisy! Welcome!
Hi and welcome to finding a clearer path in your life. I am proud that you are here looking for a way to walk forward in a more positive light. Whether you are dealing with negative thoughts, feelings, & behaviors or grieving the loss of a loved one, job, or life you thought you would have…I am here to help you navigate through it. Perhaps anxiety and fear of the future is getting in the way. Life can sometimes be tough; past, present, and future. The great thing is that you don’t have to deal with it alone…let’s talk and see the best way forward for you at this time.
My space is an open and non-judgemental one where you are in the center of it all. As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, my therapeutic approach is based on Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I pull and incorporate therapeutic approaches from Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Family Dynamics, Strength-Based Therapy, Music Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Spirituality.
I work in both English and Spanish. I have experience working with teenagers (13+), transitional-aged youth (16-25), and adults. Some of my specialty areas consist of depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, codependency, career/education, stress, work/home balance, woman issues, self-esteem, inner child healing, life transitions, and existential crisis.
I believe we are all resilient in our individual ways, let’s explore what that is for you and see how you would like to write your story moving forward. I am excited to walk alongside you through this journey.
