Hi, my name is Daniel!

So, starting therapy can feel like a big step, right? I totally get it. But guess what? You're already showing incredible strength by even considering it. I'm here to tell you, this space is all about you. It's a place where you can be real, no judgment, just open conversations. I promise it's going to be a journey filled with support, growth, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.

So, take a deep breath. Let's start this journey and see where it takes us. You are a unique individual, and your therapy should reflect that! I draw from a diverse range of modalities tailored to meet your specific needs. This world molds us into who we become, including the aspects we may find challenging to embrace. My fervor lies in using psychodynamic modalities including trauma-focused and attachment based approaches to uncover how those life experiences have shaped your thoughts and emotions, while also using aspects of Emotion Focused Therapy to help identify and discover those unhelpful thinking patterns and coping mechanisms that may be influencing you today.

With extensive experience working alongside LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, I bring a genuine understanding and support to our therapeutic journey. Being an integral part of the queer community myself, I strive to create an inclusive and affirming environment where individuals of all genders, races, and sexualities feel valued, respected, and heard. Your unique experiences and identities are not only welcomed but celebrated here.

On a personal note, I'm a proud dog dad to a cherished 5-year-old fur angel named Skylar. Beyond the therapy room, you might find me immersed in yoga, exploring new foods, or enjoying those cherished lazy days spent with my partner. I received my B.A in Psychology from California Lutheran University and a M.S in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.

Remember, taking the step towards seeking support is an act of strength and self-care. I'm here to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to explore, grow, and find healing. Please don't hesitate to reach out – together, we can navigate this path towards a brighter, more empowered you.
